EVE – Las Vegas Reviews

EVEWhen I think of EVE Nightclub, celebrities and a sophisticated style come to mind, but what else would you expect from a club that was designed by Eva Longoria.  It’s apparent that she took time to determine what celebrities want and formulated an intimate place for them to hang out.  This nightclub is situated inside the luxurious Crystals at City Center which is limited to high-society merchants.

It is obvious that no expense has been spared on the décor.  EVE has enormous, mirrored windows that allow for breath-taking glimpses of City Center.  The main bar area is accentuated by a large crystal chandelier which glows in shades of blue under a black-light effect.  The furniture is primarily covered with opulent fabrics in shades of brown and gold.  There are also occasional splashes of candy-apple red and white mixed throughout the furnishings.

The enjoyment of this club is maximized when you reserve VIP bottle service for your party.  Some of the tables are situated around the dance floor making it convenient to get your groove on when your body is feeling the beats.  If you want to get away from the action, then you can opt for a secluded table around the perimeter of the venue.  A small but appreciated detail that was not overlooked is the drink menu.  I typically can not read the drink menus inside most nightclubs because of the dim lighting, but EVE has made it unnecessary for you to pull out your cellphone and use it as a flashlight as they have equipped their drink menus with a back-lit screen (almost like an iPad).

The circular dance floor is right in the center of EVE and flanked by screens displaying music videos synced up with the DJ’s mixes.  There is a ginormous disco ball that spins overhead shooting small specks of light throughout the club.  Although the size of the dance floor is small when compared to other venues, there is still plenty of room for dancing.

Wealth, fame, and excitement – EVE has it all because it is the celebrity of Vegas night clubs.

Encore Beach Club – Las Vegas Reviews

Encore Beach ClubAsk anyone in Vegas, heck even ask your cabbie, “What is the best pool club in town?”, and most likely you will get a resounding “Encore Beach Club” in response.  That’s because the club is one of the biggest venues hosting day-time entertainment in a hip and luxurious environment.  Its simple to find Encore Beach Club.  Just walk down the Strip past the Wynn.  There is no way you can miss it as there are several sets of stairs and escalators that guide you right up to the front gates.

Encore Beach Club definitely caters to its VIP clients with 26 cabanas and eight bungalows that form the two-level surrounding walls and offer a view of the Strip.  In addition to their prime location and vantage points, the VIP areas have misters, TVs and top-of-the line music systems.  Even though the VIP areas are the coveted spots inside this club, I think the best seats are the floating lily-pad daybeds and tables.  These are located in the pool which makes it easy to dip your feet into the water without even getting up from your lounging position.  Plus, the most popular spot in the club, the dance station, is only a few feet away.

The dance station is an elevated platform in the middle of the pool with three stripper poles topped by a rain and misting device.  This is the perfect place to show off your dance moves while getting a cool rain shower.  If you’re not dancing at the station, then you will probably gravitate toward the crowd that forms around the DJ booth.  They often book guest DJs for special events, and the house DJs are extremely good at getting the crowd jumping.

Encore Beach Club has several special days where they giveaway prizes like swimsuits and cover-ups.  They also host nighttime pool parties called “Dip & Dance” where the club is open from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m., and you are encouraged to bring your bikini so you can work on a “moonlight tan.”

Encore Beach Club definitely has it all – VIP cabanas, bungalows, well-known DJs, plenty of food, tables for gambling, oh yeah, and a sparkling pool.

Drai’s – Las Vegas Reviews

Drai'sWith so many options of pubs and ultra-lounges available in Vegas, you will never have a difficult time finding a spot to get the night started.  However, the party virtuosos in town know that Drai’s Afterhours is the only place to end your night right.  If you turn your nose up at the older casino properties on the strip and decide to walk right by them without investigation, then you’ve probably missed this late-night treasure which is tucked away inside Bill’s Gamblin’ Hall & Saloon.

It’s pointless to show up early at Drai’s because they don’t even open until 2 a.m., and honestly the party doesn’t get started until after 4 a.m.  Once you get your stamp from the doorman, you make your way downstairs to a gothic haven complete with red walls, candles and red velvet couches.  Provocative artwork and bookshelves line the walls, but don’t plan on picking out a book to read because the lighting is extremely dim.  Besides, who goes to a nightclub to read?

The music at Drai’s is different depending on which room you select.  The house room plays a mixture of trance and techno, while the hip-hop room is reserved for bottle service guests.  You have the option to switch between each area as you please if you’re a VIP.  Even when the rooms get packed, you can always find a place to unwind.

They are typically open until well after the sun rises, which is an experience in itself when you see morning joggers on your way back to the hotel.  So, if you’re looking for an endless night, Drai’s Afterhours is the perfect place to prolong your gauntlet of drinking, partying, and dancing.

Ditch Fridays – Las Vegas Reviews

Ditch FridaysAre you tired of working hard and looking for an excuse to skip work?  Well, the Palms Hotel & Casino has devised the perfect getaway for you to escape to at the end of the week, and it is appropriately named Ditch Fridays.

It’s almost unheard of for any club in Vegas to offer guests free entry, but Ditch Fridays advertises that they do – for MEN and women!  I emphasize men because girls get in to clubs for free all the time while men are typically left out on those perks.  This free entry is a great concept, except when you read the fine print on their web site and find the disclaimer mentioning that the venue is not free on holidays and special events.  Those exceptions are understandable, but Ditch Fridays has a special event scheduled each weekend through the entire summer.  So, plan on bringing plenty of cash with you because the free party is going to cost you.

This early weekend pool party takes place at the Palms Pool & Bungalows area which is set around three pools.  Each pool is significant in size, and one of them even has floating tables with servers ready to bring you refreshments while you swim.  Even though the pools are great places to cool off from the desert heat, chilling in the the cabanas and bungalows are the best.  These hideaways are unreal!  Several of them span two stories and have outdoor decks, hot tubs, fireplaces, private bars and bathrooms not to mention all of the other amenities you find in other cabanas like TVs, DVDs, phones, refrigerators and safes.

No worries if you don’t have the funds for a celebrity-style cabana, you will still have the opportunity to enjoy the three different bars found at Ditch Fridays.  The Entry Bar is just steps inside the entrance and is a must before you make your way into the pool.  As you wander around the premises you will mostly likely find the Glass Bar which is under the glass-bottomed pool.  This voyeuristic setting has seats that are perfect for spectating the events taking place above.  You may actually have to seek out the third bar which is located behind the 12-foot waterfall.  Regardless of which bar you stop by, there will be plenty of drink specials because well-know beverage sponsors like Miller Lite are often hosting these parties.

Even though you will most likely need to pay for the free cover charge, Ditch Fridays will definitely deliver you an incredible experience enhanced by a live concert or guest DJ appearance.

Deja Vu Showgirls – Las Vegas Reviews

Deja Vu Showgirls Las VegasDeja Vu Showgirls is one venue in a nationwide chain of strip clubs that boasts the tag-line “1000s of Beautiful Girls and 3 Ugly Ones.”  If that doesn’t ring a bell, then perhaps you recall the publicity they stirred up in 2009 with their mobile stripper on a truck that cruised up and down Las Vegas Boulevard.  This enterprising move actually made national headlines, but management retired the truck later that same year to quiet protesters.  Making bold moves and changing things up is something that this group is not afraid to do.  In fact, in recent years they did an overhaul on the primary focus of the club taking it from a fully-nude club to what it is now a topless lounge.

The exterior of Deja Vu Showgirls looks like a strip club.  That’s not necessarily a bad thing, it just doesn’t really have any decoration on the outside like some of the mega-clubs in town.  There is, however, a marquee sign, a few neon lights, and a red awning marking the entrance.  Inside, the furniture and decor is soothing and comfortable.  Deep red couches and chairs are situated around two stage areas where the girls perform.  The girls are friendly and some of them get really crazy on Fetish Fridays when they come on stage wearing bondage costumes and accessories.

Unlike many other strip clubs in Vegas, Deja Vu Showgirls actually has a game room area complete with pool tables, pinball machines and a few arcade games.  There are also beer pong tournaments available where you can sign up and take down your opponents while getting your buzz on.

It is easy to loose track of time and spend hours here.  Plus, all of the little extras this club has makes it feel like a larger venue than it is.   If you’re up for an all-night excursion, try getting to Deja Vu Showgirls between 6 & 8 p.m. (for happy hour), play some pool and games until 11-ish, go the the VIP area with your favorite dancer for a couple of hours and then stop by the sex shop to pick up some items for fun after you leave the club.

Daydream – Las Vegas Reviews

As you drive south down Las Vegas Blvd and out of town, the scenery turns from tall buildings with beautiful landscapes into empty plots with dry and cracked soil.  Just when you think you’ve driven far enough away from the main strip and there is nothing to see until you get to the mountains, a giant, glass structure pops into view on the left.  You’ll be wrong if you write this oasis off as a mirage, because it’s actually the M Resort & Casino.  The M has an enormous Pool and Entertainment Plazza complete with a stage at the far end where they host outdoor concerts and events.  Even though the main pool area is impressive, the intimate Daydream pool is where you will want to go for the adults-only party.

If you arrive early (before noon), the cover charge is minimal for men and free for women.  You will also save a bundle on rentals here as they offer cabanas starting at $175.  The pool is a long, rectangular infinity-edge pool with lounge chairs, daybeds and cabanas lining either side.  Palm trees surround the whole club area making it feel quite secluded even though its just right off of the main guest pool.

With all the cash you save on seating, you’ll have plenty to spend on drinks, and the bartenders here serve up some delectable drinks.  Try out the Watermelon Mojito and the Acai You Later; both of those are refreshingly delicious on a hot summer day.  Daydream has incorporated cutting-edge technology into a drink rail that encompasses the bar.  The rail is frozen and keeps your drink cold if you set it on the rail.

Given its remote location, low prices and cozy atmosphere, there is no wonder why this haven is a popular spot for locals.  Take a trip down south past of all the packed pools on the strip and discover Daydream.  There’s no need to pinch yourself; this reverie is the real deal.

Crazy Horse III – Las Vegas Reviews

Crazy Horse IIIJust West of Mandalay Bay, there is a 24 hour nightlife complex called the PLAYGROUND.  This complex houses four separate venues with the main one named Crazy Horse III.  The name Crazy Horse has been associated with risque dancers and night-time entertainment for years.  But, this re-invention of the club takes the environment to a sophisticated and luxurious level while maintaining diverse and quality dancers.

Unlike many strip clubs in Vegas, the Crazy Horse III has an elegant interior.  It does not have a dark and dingy warehouse-like feel.  Everything from the plush, lounge seating to the sexy servers exudes class.  The bar along the back wall of the main room is huge, and the lighting that surrounds it is mesmerising.  There are also large flat-screens mounted on the walls that show ads for the club and random videos.  It would have been really cool if those screens showed a different angle of the stage when the dancers performed, but I think that I may be asking for a bit much with that request.

The dancers are attractive and have a wide range of looks.  The night we were there a few parties were also happening nearby, so we got to watch quite a bit of steamy action from our table.  One of the things I liked the most about the girls was that they seemed to love their jobs.  They really got into the table/lap dances (top down by the way) and enjoyed the action.  The rubbing, bumping and grinding made things hot from where we were, so I can only imagine what was happening to the lucky men that ordered up those dances.

There are plenty of private rooms where you can take some girls along with your party and have a great time.  The room we visited had a couple of plush couches along the walls, tables for your drinks and a large area in the middle where the girls could dance and even get a game of Twister going.  The rates for getting a private room are moderately priced, but the girls make sure to supply you with long-lasting memories.

There are so many options when it comes to late-night adult entertainment in Vegas.  Inevitably there are some clubs that should be avoided at all costs, but the Crazy Horse III is not on that list.  Come on, any place that has a Twister mat ready for some action has to get bonus points.  So, stop on by the PLAYGROUND, select your favorite girls and get them to flick your spinner.

Club Nikki – Las Vegas Reviews

Club Nikki Las VegasThe internationally renowned group of clubs called Nikki Beach has added Las Vegas to its list of locations across eight different countries.  Previously, the only other location in the US had been Miami, but Nikki Beach Las Vegas aims to outdo the success of that club and is well equipped to do so.  Nikki Beach Las Vegas is the largest of the group and is located right on the Strip at the renovated Tropicana Hotel & Casino.  The venue has three distinct areas – Club Nikki, Nikki Beach and Casa Nikki – that flow together naturally.  While all three maintain upscale service and sophistication for their clientele, the most lively and ostentatious area is Club Nikki.

When you get to the entrance you step off of the crazy, multi-colored carpeting of the casino and into a stark, white environment.  Everything here is white.  The walls are white, the columns are white, the go-go dancers wear white and even the ceiling is white (for the most part). Being surrounded by all of this achromatic decor creates an instant canvas for the lighting that morphs from pinks to deep blues throughout the night.

The music here is “true house” music and is pumped out through a state-of-the-art sound system.  Club Nikki invites famous DJs from all over the world to bring the crowd to life.  They have Emulator mixing screens for these beat-masters to use and even have a layout that supports a battle with two DJs dueling.  Almost the entire inside space is dedicated as the dance floor, so there will be plenty of room for you to showcase your moves.

There are plenty of waitresses ready to take your order for cocktails or for fun have one of the “Champagne Muses” sitting in egg-shaped chairs that hang from the ceiling pour you up some bubbly.  When you feel like taking a break, head outside to the Nikki Beach area where you can mingle with your party around the pool or grab a VIP table.  The service here is impeccable and several steps above what you get at other nightclubs in town.

The Tropicana is truly lucky to have this nightclub join its entertainment options.  Club Nikki touts itself as “the sexiest place in the world” and strives hard to hit that level of distinction in every way.

Can-Can Room – Las Vegas Reviews

Can-Can Room Las VegasIf you’ve driven down Industrial Road in Las Vegas at any point in the past 30 years, you may claim to have unknowingly passed the Can-Can Room; but, the vintage sign featuring a busty blonde out front must have surely caught your attention a couple of times.  This club is open 7 days a week from 9 p.m. until dawn and typically has twenty-five sexy girls on duty.

Even though the Can-Can Room is smaller than other strip clubs in town, it is one of the only fully nude venues.  Remember, this means no alcohol for those of you that can’t party without, but it also means that the show gets a lot hotter than the normal topless bars.  The erotic roster of females take on five different stages dancing to whatever music gets them in the mood.  By the time the second song comes on and most of the clothing is gone, your fantasies are in full swing.  The dancing, crawling and shaking of a fully nude body in front of your face really gives an extra kick to your libido.  When it gets too hot and you need to cool down, get an extra glass of water or juice from one of the attentive servers.  You senses will eventually come back around.

When the girls are clothed and you get a closer look, it is easy to notice that a majority of them are quite young.  They don’t have to be over 21 to dance here – just over 18, and most of them are somewhere in the middle.  Between 9 and 11 p.m., a lap dance is only $10 for the first 30 customers.  Otherwise, lap dances can range in price depending on the girl.   If you prefer a private dance, you can take your girl to “Cleopatra’s Lair” or perhaps the “Pearls of Orient.”  Those are just two of the seven fantasy theme areas at the Can-Can Room, each set in a bedroom-like format.  These private retreats are modestly priced and will definitely “arouse your hidden desires.”

The Can-Can Room is the oldest nude club in Vegas; the girls aren’t old, just the venue.  If you want great looking 18+ girls, stop on by the next time you’re traveling down Industrial Road.

Blue Hour – Las Vegas Reviews

Blue Hour @ MGM GrandIf you party in Vegas like most club-goers do, then you are out at all hours of the night and early evening often arriving back at the hotel room sometime around 7 to 11 a.m.  Given that sort of schedule, it is almost impossible (that is if you plan on sleeping at all) to make it to the pool clubs and parties before they close around 5 to 6 p.m.  Fortunately, a genius at MGM Grand invented Blue Hour which fills in that void of party-less time between the hours when pools close and nightclubs open.

Blue Hour happens at the Signature’s Tower 1 pool every Friday and Saturday night between the “blue hours” of 6 to 10 p.m.  During this time, guests can get into this exclusive area without paying a cover charge.  In addition to free admission, there is also happy hour from 6 to 7 p.m. which offers up unbeatable prices on drinks.  Imagine six beers for under $20 on the strip in Vegas.  Impossible you say?  Well not at the Blue Hour.  You can seriously get your night started off with a bang for less than the cover charge at most clubs.

The area has a lounge vibe complete with DJs and bumping music; however, the pool is still accessible if you feel like taking a dip after the sun goes down.  This meshing of day and night club environments makes for an extremely relaxed dress code, so don’t stress over what you’re going to wear.  Just grab a friend or two and make your way to MGM where you can enjoy a party around a beautiful pool landscape on the strip without throwing down a bunch of cash.
